General Return Policy

At Trend, we understand that finding the perfect item sometimes involves a bit of trial and error. We want to make the returns and exchanges process as simple and seamless as possible for you. Below, you will find detailed information on our policies and procedures to ensure a smooth experience.
Items purchased from Trend can be returned within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached. Please ensure that the items are in the same condition as you received them, including the original packaging. Items that do not meet these criteria will not be accepted for return.

How to Initiate a Return:

For domestic returns within the United States, a flat fee of $7.00 will be deducted from your refund to cover the cost of return shipping. For international returns, shipping costs will vary based on your location and will be the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as Trend is not responsible for return packages lost in transit.

  • Log into Your Account: Sign in to your Trend account on our website. If you checked out as a guest, you would need to create an account using the same email address you used for your purchase.
  • Go to Your Order History: Navigate to the 'Order History' section of your account. Locate the order containing the items you wish to return.
  • Select Items for Return: Click on the 'Return' button next to the items you want to return. You will be prompted to select a reason for the return from a dropdown menu. This helps us understand why the item is being returned and improve our products and services.
  • Print Return Label: Once you have completed the return request, a return shipping label will be generated. Print this label and affix it to the outside of your return package.
  • Pack and Ship: Place the items you are returning in their original packaging. If the original packaging is unavailable, use a suitable alternative that ensures the items are protected during transit. Drop off your package at the designated shipping carrier location.

Processing Your Return:

Once your return package is received at our warehouse, it will be inspected to ensure it meets the return eligibility criteria. This process typically takes 5-7 business days. After inspection, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please note that it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the credit to appear on your account, depending on your bank or credit card issuer.

Exchanges:

We offer exchanges for items of a different size or color. To exchange an item, please follow the return process outlined above. Once we receive and process your return, you can place a new order for the desired item. We do not charge a restocking fee for exchanges, but the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Non-Returnable Items:

If you receive a damaged or defective item, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact our customer service team within 7 days of receiving the item to report the issue. Provide your order number, a description of the damage or defect, and photos if possible. Our team will work with you to resolve the issue promptly, either by offering a replacement or a full refund, including return shipping costs.

Certain items are not eligible for return or exchange. These include:

  • Final sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Personalized or custom-made items
  • Items marked as non-returnable in the product description

Return Policy for International Orders:

The return policy for international orders is similar to that for domestic orders, with a few key differences. International customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and we recommend using a trackable shipping method. Additionally, international returns may be subject to customs and import duties, which are the responsibility of the customer. Please allow extra time for international returns to be processed due to longer shipping times and customs clearance.

How to Track Your Return:

After dropping off your return package, use the tracking number provided on the return label to monitor its progress. You can track your return through the carrier’s website. Once the package is received and processed at our warehouse, you will receive an email notification confirming the return and refund status.

Refunds for Gift Returns:

If you are returning an item that was received as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser. If you prefer to receive a store credit instead, please indicate this preference when initiating the return. Store credits will be issued as a gift card that can be used for future purchases on the Trend website.
